Notice on Stone Availability
The fallout from the political situation in Thailand is still affecting our orders from our cutter, which is especially bad since we have just opened this new site after months of hard work. Our cutter lost many of his cutters after the politically motivated riots in Bangkok this past summer, as they had to leave to take care of their families and many will not be coming back.
It is taking a long time to train new cutters and the ones who can cut some of our specialty stones, like the LucidaZ and OctaCZ are absolutely swamped between now and the first of the year.
They are trying to work our orders into their production schedule, but I have been notified that it may be after Christmas before some of our orders are filled.
Naturally we wish this were not the case, but frankly, I am going to stand with my cutter. He has always been there for us, and his work is simply top notch. It is, in my opinion, well worth waiting for, and we will wait.
We will understand if this creates problems for anyone, and we will cancel any orders and return money if people are not able to wait that long.
We do have many of our stones in stock, but if you are wanting something done in time for Christmas you will want to contact us to make sure the stones you want are in stock. We have large supplies of most sizes in rounds and princess cuts, but very limited supplies of our specialty cuts for which we are famous.
