Conversion Chart - Carat - mm
Cubic zirconium is measured in two ways – carat weight and millimeter size. However, since cubic zirconium is considerably heavier in gram weight than diamonds, for purposes of comparison, weights are converted and referred to in diamond weight. This chart will aid in ordering if you know either the millimeter size or the carat weight that you are looking for in the various sizes and shapes. Millimeter sizes may be closely approximate to commonly referred to diamond sizes (quarter, third, half and full carat sizes). In this case, order the size closest to the desired diamond size. Our cutters do not cut anything smaller than a 3 mm stone.
On top right you will see a small sample of our conversion chart.
