"I'd like relate our *wonderful* experience working with Wink Jones in looking for and finding a
one-of-a-kind engagement ring! Last September, I joined DiamondTalk after my
fiance and I started talking about engagement rings and I was completely lost! I knew I wanted
something different, but I had no idea on specifics.

Fortunately, DT had just what I was looking for -- great information and gorgeous pictures to help me
make some decisions. After seeing pictures of the Richard Homer sapphires Wink had posted, I was
hooked. Nothing I had seen in person matched what I saw from Richard Homer online.

So after posting
a few questions on DT, I started e-mailing Wink with countless questions early this year.
By early March, it was time to look at the stones in person! Wink offered to ship some Richard Homer
stones to a local appraiser well known on Diamond Talk, Dave Atlas! Wink even asked Richard to send
a stone directly to Dave so we could consider it just after it was cut.

After seeing the stones in person, we'd decided on a 2.88 carat oval blue Richard Homer sapphire that
had captured my imagination online when I first saw pictures of it last fall. It was even more
breathtaking in person than the initial photos I had seen. Wow!

All that was left was to pick out a setting for Wink's team to build (classic 6 prong in platinum)
and get the stone set. Again, Wink answered all of our questions, practically as soon as we e-mailed
him, and kept us posted as to its progress.

Last night my fiance "officially" proposed just before dinner and a jazz concert.
We're so happy! And the ring -- well, see for yourself below! We have been playing with our new
pet rock in all forms of light, admiring Richard Homer's work.

So THANK YOU to Wink, Dave, Richard and to the whole DT team who has offered us advice and
support. What a great experience all around! My fiance and I would not hesitate to work with Wink
again -- in fact, when it's time to get wedding rings, we'll call him right up!

P.S. It's been 2 weeks since I received the ring, and I continue to admire it in all lights and say
to myself, I have the most beautiful engagement ring in the world! (I know, there are *many*
beautiful rings, but I love mine so much ...!) I feel awed to be able to have such a beautiful
object as the symbol of my relationship with my fiance.
